Attention all Brisbane based social entrepreneurs!  How would you like win a share of $50,000 to help launch your idea for making positive lasting social change?

Wesley Mission Brisbane have launched Campaign for Change a round of funding available to anyone wanting to make a establish their own social enterprise or community support program.  Your idea can be big or small, but must provide a hand up to those in need, improve wellbeing and encourage connection.  Social innovators and entrepreneurs alike can share in $50,000 worth of cash and expert mentoring for their very own start up helping the community.

It can be an arts or sports program for youth at risk, a social enterprise for the homeless, creating a business mentoring program for young mums, or a drop-in centre for families who need access to legal and financial services.

The winner will receive $30,000 cash as well as valuable support and mentoring from Wesley Mission Brisbane, with four finalists each receiving $5,000 and a mentoring workshop.

Entry is open from September 18th to October 31st 2012 via Campaign for Change website  and the winners will be announced in February 2013.
