As my good friend Neil Shannon from The Villager Hotel puts it “we are about to enter the boobs and balls fundraising season”. That would be Breast Cancer in the month of October, and Prostate Cancer (via hugely successful Movember fundraising campaign) in November.
With the help of Neil (and many, many others) I host a charity dinner each year that supports a different local, grass roots cancer charity. Thanks to the kindness and support of so many, we are incredibly up to the sixth year of this little dinner that has so far, raised over $20,000.
This year is no exception and I am pleased to invite you to the Sixth Annual GLAM it up for Charity Dinner at The Villager Hotel in Brisbane, proudly raising money for Olive McMahon Lodge in Toowoomba.
The Olive McMahon Lodge is run by The Cancer Council and offers a home away from home for regional cancer patients travelling to Toowoomba for cancer treatment at no cost. Olive McMahon Lodge have given me a wish list of things they need and I am hoping to raise enough money to buy the entire list.
The details (see above image)
6:30pm for a 7pm start on Tuesday 30th October at The Villager Hotel, 185 George Street Brisbane.
Tickets are $65 each which includes beer/bubbles on arrival a three course meal and a $20 donation to Olive McMahon Lodge in Toowoomba. The lovely ladies from Scoundrelles will be providing some cheeky entertainment and there will be lots of raffle prizes to be won.
Click here to book your ticket or call The Villager Hotel on 3211 1300.
I hope to see you there!
Can you do one for the Fashion Festival next week please??
