Do you need an excuse for some online retail therapy? Well, here is a
great one. Online retail therapy, that directly helps children’s charity
Bravehearts.
Since 1997,
Braveheart’s have been advocating to stop child sexual assault in Australia.
Research shows that approximately 1 in 5 Australian children will be sexually assaulted in some way before their 18th birthday. This equates to 59,000 children every year. It’s a horrific statistic that has the majority of Australians asking – what can we do to stop this?
For the entire month of July,
Dollar Cosmetic Club will offer $1 cosmetic daily deals with all profits going to Bravehearts. Brands include Elizabeth Arden, Revlon and Maybelline.
Last year
Dollar Cosmetic Club raised $44,735 for the McGrath Foundation – and with your help, Bravehearts are hoping the 2013 campaign will raise $59,000 – $1 for every Australian child who will be sexually assaulted in some way before their 18
th Birthday.
Child protection is everyone’s business. Keeping children safe is one of the most important things we can do. Please sign up to support Bravehearts, like them on
facebook, follow them on
twitter, and have a little shop
online supporting a very worthy cause.
