For most of 2013 Micheal Stafford, my new favourite superhero and brains behind BAM! Expresso has been busily making the world a better place, one expresso at a time.  Earlier this year, Michael opened a philanthro-cafe BAM! Expresso on Julia Street in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, where you the customer, make a donation in exchange for your Di Bella coffee.  Micheal then uses the profits from each cup of coffee “sold” go towards purchasing pillows, blankets, food and hygiene supplies for Australia’s homeless and those in need.

Just when I thought that his concept of coffee-by-charitable-donation couldnt get any better, I hear that Michael has taken it up yet another kindness notch – introducing concept Pay a Sack Forward – a program that allows individuals to donate funds that provide survival sacks for the Homeless community and others in need.

For a measly $5 each sack, incredibly contains a pillow, a blanket, food, water, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and more – here is a pic I took of the sacks available for purchase at Di Bella HQ in Brisbane – Di Bella Coffee are a huge supporter of the movement:
