Queensland Charity Events 2015

This is the third year I have written this Queensland charity event list, kind of a wish list of all the amazing fancy-pants-for-a-good-cause type events that Queensland charities put on each year.

Take a look, support* a couple and please send me a note or comment below if I have missed any – thanks and enjoy!

* there are so many ways you can support a charity event, other than attending.  Donate a prize, donate your skills or time (join the event / fundraising committee, volunteer to stuff goodie bags or sell raffle tickets at the event), share the event with your friends / network –  get in touch with the charity directly, to see if they can use your help.

  2. Prof. von Explaino says:

I note your confusion about formal outfits encouraged but not required; yet steampunk attire _is_ required for the Steampunk Charity Ball. Steampunk can include post-apocalyptic attire, tribal outfits, urchin outfits, and loads of other non-formal costumery and still be Steampunk. Hope that helps.
