Each year, I organise a charity dinner in Brisbane, I call it GLAM It Up For Charity and it supports a different and grass roots charity each year. Some of the beneficiaries have included YWCA Encore, The Olive McMahon Lodge, Second Chance Program, Mummy’s Wish and MND and Me Foundation.

Frock up, rock up and come and have a great night out in support of Hummingbird House – Queensland’s only children’s hospice providing respite care, scheduled family breaks, and end of life care to Queensland families of children with life limiting conditions. There are 3700 Queensland families living with, loving and supporting a child or teenager with a life-limiting condition. The emotional, physical and financial a struggle for these families is immense. Construction of Hummingbird House has commenced, and plans to open in early 2016.
I’m hoping the 2015 dinner will crack the $15,000 mark to help Hummingbird House.
