Card Making in memory of mum – 17th October 2015 Brisbane

You are invited to Card Making for a Cause on Saturday 17th October 2015 at Yeronga Services Club, Brisbane. All cards made on the day are donated to local charities and causes, who then on-sell them, keeping the funds raised to deliver on their mission.  You and your friends are the slave labour who makes all this possible!

Leisa estimates that Card Making for a Cause has donated over 35,000 hand-made cards to charity – just amazing!

It is a very fun day, no experience or skills needed, just BYO scissors, your enthusiasm, a willingness to have fun and a generous spirit!  Cost is $15 per adult / $7 for kids, which includes coffee, morning tea and a donation. Come along for a couple of hours, or all day.  Older kids welcome to make cards too.  RSVP to Leisa Gill here.

Card Making for a Cause was started in memory of Leisa’s mum, Sascha, who passed away in June 2010 with only 25 days between diagnosis and her death.  Leisa and her mum were very close, and one thing they loved to do together was to make cards.  Card Making for a Cause is in memory of Leisa’s mum Sascha’s life, an attempt to turn a devastating negative into a long lasting positive.
